D.I.Y Rustic Picture Frame

I have no picture frames and no money for them so I made myself one and I love how it turned out.
Materials:
  • Glue gun and hot glue sticks
  • Cardboard
  • Siccors
  • Yarn or Wire
  • and your Picture
Here is what it will look like done, so on to making your very own rustic picture frame hope you have fun making your frame as much as I did.

  • You want to get a big piece of cardboard, preferably bigger than your picture(mine is an 8X10).

  • Then trace the outside of it and draw a design you would like your items to lay, in this case your bark or sticks (both). I like to draw my designs free handed but you can use a stencil or something else you prefer

  • Then cut the big pieces off first,  then cut by the lines of your picture frame.
  • To cut on the inside of the frame draw a circle and draw four squares inside the frame, and be sure to leave like a 1/4 inch from the inside line to the picture here is a picture for that,

  • Then you want to start hot gluing you items on, and keep glue them on in random places (no it does NOT have to be perfect) then go back and feel in the little places that look like you missed spots,

  • If you want to tape you picture on the back you can and if you still see cardboard thats ok you can either add more items to place over it or just leave it,

The tape is in the corner
Pointing at the cardboard showing
Add item
  • Then hot glue on a piece of yarn or whatever to hang it up with,

And you are done ^_^ you have your lovely rustic frame. Happy crafting!!
